Patty graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a B.B.A. in Finance. Prior to entering the commercial real estate field, she gained a wide-ranging background in financial analysis and consulting working as an analyst in Washington, D.C. followed by work at the Federal Reserve Bank here in Atlanta. This led to work in the bank consulting space with Kaplan Smith and Associates.
McGill entered the commercial real estate brokerage space when she joined The Braden Fellman Group in the late 1980’s with a focus on boutique apartment and warehouse sales, representing both purchasers and sellers. Following her initial start there, she joined Haas & Dodd Realty Company, a full service commercial brokerage group located in downtown Atlanta where her primary focus was predominately Tenant representation for office and retail deals and work with apartment developers to locate suitable sites.
McGill started The McGill Co in 2006 where she continues her geographic focus on the close-in real estate market. McGill received the CCIM—Certified Commercial Investment Member designation in 2015. She is a licensed broker in both Georgia and North Carolina. When not concentrating on the market, Patty spends time skiing, running, hiking and camping.
